A .476 DOUBLE-ACTION REVOLVER, MODEL 'WEBLEY'S No4 PRYSE', serial no. 7572,
black powder circa 1880, with 5 3/4in. barrel signed on the sighting rib 'ARMY & NAVY C.S.L', the side of barrel throat marked on the left hand side ''WEBLEY'S No4 .476', thumb-wheel cylinder release, break-open hinged frame with twin Pryse-action bars, fluted auto-ejecting cylinder, arched-back chequered walnut grip (large piece from the upper front absent along with frame top-screw), iron heel-plate with lanyard ring, guarded trigger, the whole retaining a strong amount of original but frosted and dulled nickel-plated finish
